About the Role

This Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced position offers a flexible and dependable option for individuals looking to supplement their income, gain hands-on experience, or work toward a full-time career with an industry leader. The role provides reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility to earn more by picking up additional shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, and the business perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and effectively, documenting observations and notifying appropriate contacts and/or emergency responders.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports and communicate security concerns, hazards, and unusual conditions to leadership.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
