About the Role
This role focuses on the sustainment of existing configurations for the DOS HxGN EAM System, with limited focus on new functionality. The position will provide sustainment support for HxGN EAM software solutions, accommodating unique transit industry operating and management processes, regulatory requirements, and business needs. It involves supporting end-to-end project management, consulting on Asset Management best practices, and assisting with requirements gathering, gap analysis, solution design, system optimization, reporting solutions, and testing.
Responsibilities
- Support DOS Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) sustainment efforts, focusing on the base implementation established under the EAM Foundations Program.
- Provide sustainment support for HxGN EAM software solutions configured for transit industry operating and management processes, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
- Provide sustainment support for solutions to complex business problems where analysis requires in-depth knowledge of organizational objectives.
- Support and develop activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping, and requirements through initiation to implementation and deployment.
- Consult on Asset Management best practices (maintenance, inspection, and reliability) leveraging HxGN EAM capabilities (core and mobile).
- Support DOS Business lead in performing requirements gathering workshops, identifying and analyzing business needs.
- Support DOS Business lead in developing gap analysis of current/desired business process and system capabilities for new functionalities.
- Support DOS Business lead in designing solutions incorporating out-of-box functionality and/or collaborative solution design with technical teams for custom functionality.
- Support DOS Business lead in identifying areas of system optimization based on business processes.
- Support DOS Business lead in developing system reporting solutions based on business needs (Queries, Inboxes, KPIs, and Dataspys).
- Support DOS Business lead in creating, validating, executing, and documenting test cases.
- Assist in the development of end-user training and reference materials.
- Perform or assist in end-user training.
- Assist in implementation go-live and post-go-live activities.
- Support requests from users to research system problems or errors and assist in their resolution.
- Provide technical evaluation of proposed technical solutions and technical direction for development, design, and systems integration work, including mobile.
- Support HxGN integration with other corporate systems.
- Configure HxGN EAM for DOS assets.
Requirements
- A minimum of 5-10 years HxGN EAM (formerly Infor EAM) experience.
- Preferable 2-3 years working experience with Railroad/Transit industry.
- Minimum 5 years hands-on experience in Proficiency in extending HxGN EAM through Extensibility Framework.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing FlexSQL to achieve business needs.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Minimum 5 years HxGN EAM experience, v 11 and higher.
- Proficiency in extending HxGN EAM through Extensibility Framework.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing FlexSQL to achieve business needs.
- Experienced in Work and Asset management functions of HxGN EAM (Work Orders, Planning, Equipment, etc.).
- Minimum 5 years enterprise asset management system delivery services, leading solution development teams.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in EAM implementations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, Project.
- Ability to modify/adapt systems, applications, and programs to meet business requirements.
- Understanding of complex relational database organization, design, and functionality.
- Experience in desktop / mobile computer support and troubleshooting software related problems.
- Excellent oral, written and presentation communication skill in relating technical information to non-technical personnel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment, a self-starter.
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization.

- No work will be performed within 50 feet of track right-of-way.
