About the Role
The Manager, Trust Program Management is a key member of the Personal Trust Services organization, responsible for supporting all personal trust program functions. This role involves working closely with business partners to ensure program features meet operational and client needs, and coordinating Personal Trust Committee meetings and materials. The position also plays a role in risk governance, assuring compliance with policies, procedures, and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Providing centralized coordination between departments
- Serving as a business liaison between product and process owners, ensuring best practices are identified and shared, and that similar processes and procedures are consistently executed across multiple locations and client segments
- Managing and enhancing management of meetings and meeting materials for the Personal Trust Fiduciary Committee, the Personal Trust Operating Committee, and the Board of Directors, ensuring materials are timely and accurate
- Supporting risk management programs for Personal Trust Services, including risk and controls self-assessment (“RCSA”), business continuity and incident management, records retention, complaints, loss reporting, and operations risk working group
- Facilitating regulatory exams and internal testing and audits
- Overseeing maintenance of all Trust Company policies and procedures and ensuring procedures are designed with a “Through the Client’s Eyes’ perspective
- Developing, implementing, and monitoring programs in order to meet regulatory expectations and achieve business objectives
- Creating and maintaining internal and external forms
- Overseeing educational opportunities offered to our Trust Company employees
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience required
- 5+ years’ experience in banking or financial industry, trust and estate administration or related trust or financial experience a plus
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, coupled with strong problem-solving techniques
- Experience with risk, management, and governance reporting
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize data into well-formulated recommendations and plans
- Strong analytical skills, ability to research problems, determine root causes and solutions
- Superior organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality or accuracy
- Highly client-oriented focus with demonstrated experience in program management
- Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills, including ability to communicate effectively to varying levels within the organization from senior management to front-line employees
