About the Role
Join a leading international banking platform and play a key role in financing the energy transition and critical infrastructure projects across Europe. Our Power, Utilities & Infrastructure (PUI) team is looking for an experienced Corporate Banking professional to support and grow relationships with leading power, utilities, renewable energy and infrastructure clients. This is a highly visible role offering exposure to complex financing transactions, senior client interaction and close partnership with product teams across the Bank.
Responsibilities
- Manage and develop relationships with Power, Utilities & Infrastructure clients across Europe.
- Analyse credit opportunities and prepare high-quality credit submissions for approval.
- Assess financial statements, forecasts and financial models to support lending decisions.
- Execute transactions, amendments and legal documentation requirements.
- Partner with Investment Banking, DCM, ECM, FX, GTB and other product teams to deliver client solutions.
- Monitor portfolio performance and ensure compliance with credit and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare client presentations, marketing materials and strategic account plans.
- Support business development activities, industry research and new client origination efforts.
Requirements
- Experience in Corporate Banking, Credit Analysis, Infrastructure Finance or Relationship Management.
- Strong knowledge of lending products, credit structuring and risk assessment.
- Exposure to the Power, Utilities, Infrastructure, Energy or Renewables sectors is highly desirable.
- Strong financial modelling, analytical and accounting skills.
- Confidence working with clients, internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- MBA, CFA or relevant professional qualification desirable but not essential.
