About the Role

Join our high-profile team in the pediatric operating room and provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures. You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team, assisting in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

Provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures (e.g., neurological, orthopedic and ENT).
Function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team.
Assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.

Requirements

Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment.
Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire.
Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
High school diploma or GED.
