About the Role

Join our high-profile team in the pediatric operating room and provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures. You will function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team, assisting in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide crucial support to physicians throughout a wide range of surgical procedures (e.g., neurological, orthopedic and ENT).
  • Function as a scrub person, circulation assistant, and member of the surgical team.
  • Assist in the care, preparation, and maintenance of supplies and equipment in the Operating Room.

Requirements

  • Certified Surgical Technologist by the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting Certification (NBSTSA) or if a new graduate, must supply exam date prior to start of employment.
  • Certification must be obtained within six months of hire and complete a probationary period of six (6) months from date of hire.
  • Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program or experience as on O.R. Technician/Surgical Technologist in an acute care setting.
  • High school diploma or GED.
