About the Role
Join Barclays as a Financial Crime SME / Change Lead to spearhead the evolution of our digital landscape, driving innovation and excellence. Your focus will be on developing business readiness strategies to ensure successful implementation of change initiatives, identifying improvement opportunities, and ensuring organizational consistency. You will collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements and support the achievement of strategic targets, strengthening Barclays' approach to financial crime prevention.
Responsibilities
- Identify and analyze business impacts and opportunities requiring organizational change.
- Develop business readiness strategies for successful change initiative implementation.
- Communicate with stakeholders, including senior management and project teams, regarding change initiatives.
- Collaborate with Client Readiness, Operational Readiness & Tech Delivery to prepare business, sales, operations, and client servicing partners for technology transitions.
- Manage resistance to change by engaging stakeholders and addressing concerns.
- Review business readiness plans and status reports with change delivery managers.
- Collaborate with project teams to align change initiatives with project objectives and integrate change management activities.
- Provide guidance and support to business stakeholders for successful change initiative implementation.
- Contribute to or set strategy, drive requirements, and make recommendations for change.
- Plan resources, budgets, and policies; manage and maintain policies/processes.
- Deliver continuous improvements and escalate policy/procedure breaches.
- Advise key stakeholders on functional and cross-functional areas of impact and alignment.
- Manage and mitigate risks through assessment to support the control and governance agenda.
- Demonstrate leadership and accountability for managing risk and strengthening controls.
- Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of organizational functions to achieve business goals.
- Collaborate with other work areas for business-aligned support and to stay updated on business activity and strategies.
- Create solutions based on sophisticated analytical thought, comparing and selecting complex alternatives.
- Define problems and develop innovative solutions through in-depth analysis and interpretative thinking.

- Excellent understanding of CDD and EDD Subject Matter Expertise.
- Experience with Financial Crime Risk Assessment & Controls Design.
- Extensive Policy, Standards and Regulatory Interpretation experience.
