Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, efficient, and high-quality patient and occupational health care through clinical assessment, treatment support, diagnostic testing, care coordination, and accurate documentation.
- Maintain a compliant and well-organized clinical environment.
- Provide patient care as appropriate within your scope of practice by assessing and triaging patients, assisting with exams and procedures, administering medications and injections, executing venipunctures and responding to emergencies.
- Perform diagnostic testing and specimen collection.
- Maintain accurate documentation by recording patient care and communications as well as managing records, prescriptions, and authorizations.
- Coordinate patient care by communicating with appropriate care partners to support treatment, scheduling, and return-to-work planning.
- Maintain exam rooms and equipment, manage supplies, ensure regulatory compliance, and contribute to staff training and quality improvement.
- Prepare, prevent, protect and respond to support our culture of safety.
- Works hours per week in accordance with offer letter or per attributes of position at transfer request.
- May be expected to work longer hours as necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing
- Current license to practice as an LPN in the State of Ohio
- BLS certification
- Two (2) years’ previous office experience (preferred)
