About the Role
CCS is seeking a motivated Network Engineer with a solid IT background to design, implement, manage, and troubleshoot the organization’s network infrastructure, ensuring secure, reliable, and high-performance connectivity across various environments.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and deploy network solutions (LAN/WAN/WLAN, VPN, firewalls).
- Monitor, verify, and provide IT support for switch and router interconnectivity, wireless connectivity, internet and internal network connectivity, remote site connectivity, and uplinks to VMware and SQL servers and storage.
- Manage, update, and monitor security services (FTD Firewalls, ISE).
- Manage Crown Castle circuits.
- Manage remote site Internet services.
- Provide network infrastructure engineering support for new installations.
- Create network documentation and diagrams.
- Project manage network infrastructure projects.
- Implement network security measures including firewall policies, access controls, and VPNs.
- Support network upgrades, patches, and firmware updates.
- Maintain accurate documentation of configurations, diagrams, and procedures.
- Provide tier-3 support for escalated network incidents.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 3–5+ years of experience in network engineering or administration.
- Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, Network+, or similar.
- Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing protocols (OSPF/BGP), and wireless technologies.
- Proficiency with Cisco network platforms.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams.
