About the Role

As a key member of the Recruitment Team, this specialist role will manage and support vacancies within our London HQ, Leicester DC, and Customer Centre. You will be experienced in various direct sourcing methods to attract and engage top talent while partnering with key stakeholders to enhance attraction and selection capacity. This is a fixed-term contract position to cover maternity leave, starting at the beginning of October.

Responsibilities

  • Source and attract high-quality candidates for positions across all departments at HQ, DC, and CC for entry and junior levels using direct sourcing, job boards, talent pools, social media, and networking.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment processes, including briefing, advertising, screening, supporting interviews, and extending offers, ensuring an excellent candidate experience.
  • Arrange and confirm candidate interviews, providing necessary information to hiring managers and candidates.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates.
  • Manage the internal recruitment process and advertising.
  • Develop talent pipelines for challenging or hard-to-recruit roles.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders through regular communication, vacancy updates, and expert market insights.
  • Support the wider People team with apprenticeships, placements, internships, and work experience programs.
  • Contribute to and support talent attraction and employer brand activities with the Recruitment Partner.
  • Utilize an Applicant Tracking System for recruitment processes.
  • Manage agency Preferred Supplier List (PSL) relationships where applicable.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Coordinator to support each other during peak recruitment periods and external events representing White Stuff.

Requirements

  • A clear passion for resourcing and recruitment with a desire to attract, engage, and recruit leading talent cost-effectively and in a timely manner.
  • A tenacious approach to direct sourcing.
  • Proven experience within head office recruitment.
  • Experience with multiple direct sourcing methods, including advertising, CV banks, social media, talent pipelines, and headhunting.
  • Experience in a Recruitment Agency or internal environment with a proven record of success, operating at pace/volume with effective stakeholder/client engagement.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Understanding of the UK Retail Market, including competitors, structures, competencies, and recruitment practices.
  • Astute interviewing and assessment skills.
