About the Role
We are seeking a contract Strategy and Operations Associate to support the CEO in developing core expansion plans. This role offers direct contribution to growth strategy, market expansion, and financing approaches within an innovative nonprofit setting. It is a Chief of Staff-type position focused on high-priority projects.
Responsibilities
- Lead industry and landscape analyses to inform the organization's next phase of growth.
- Develop growth plans for expansion into new markets and sectors.
- Research and model innovative financing approaches aligned with the organization's Jobs Fund and other vehicles.
- Partner with the CEO and leadership team to shape strategic decision-making frameworks.
- Synthesize data, trends, and insights into briefings, memos, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
- Pre-MBA candidates with prior consulting or strategy experience.
- Post-MBA professionals exploring applied impact and early-stage environments.
- Strategic thinker capable of connecting data, market insights, and organizational goals.
- Analytical and structured approach to complex challenges.
- Mission-driven with a desire to apply skills to economic mobility, equity, and the future of work.
- Adaptable and entrepreneurial, thriving in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Strong communicator skilled at synthesizing information for executives and stakeholders.
- Experience working with senior leaders and managing up.
- Familiarity with financing models (impact investing, nonprofit financing, or innovative capital models is a plus).
