About the Role

Manage day-to-day warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency and accuracy. This role involves leading a team, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring safety compliance. Collaborate with other departments to optimize warehouse functions and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates in daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Train, mentor, and evaluate warehouse staff performance.
  • Coordinate the receiving, storage, and distribution of products.
  • Collaborate with logistics and other departments to optimize workflow.
  • Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
  • Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse performance metrics.
  • Resolve inventory discrepancies and address operational issues.
  • Manage warehouse equipment and ensure proper maintenance.
  • Oversee the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in budget management and control warehouse expenses.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment.
  • Ensure timely fulfillment of orders and shipments.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3-5 years of experience in warehouse operations or a supervisory role.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Proficient in warehouse management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • Familiarity with inventory management software.
  • Knowledge of barcode and RFID technology.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
  • Understanding of lean warehouse practices and principles.
  • Able to lift, load, unload, and move products weighing up to 48 lbs.
  • Fulfill all physical requirements of the job.
  • Considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine.
  • Activity or condition may occasionally include walking, bending, reaching, standing, and stooping.
