About the Role
Darling Ingredients is seeking a Route Driver for the Berlin, WI area. This position offers competitive pay starting at $30.52 plus overtime, with opportunities for career growth within a stable, worldwide company.
Responsibilities
- Collect and transport raw materials from customers back to the facility.
- Drive a bucket trailer/truck, collecting materials from multiple customers daily.
- Manage routes using an onboard computer (OBC) and maintain backup paper logs.
- Maintain truck cleanliness and complete daily vehicle condition reports.
- Provide exceptional professional service to all customers.
- Adhere to all laws and regulations.
Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Authorized to work in the US.
- Valid Class A CDL with tanker endorsement.
- Good driving record.
- Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Customer service skills.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with superior time management skills.
- Ability to maintain composure in difficult situations.
- Adaptability to changes and ability to work well with others.
