About the Role
As a Senior Product Engineer at Docebo, you will operate at the intersection of customer needs and product delivery, owning the full lifecycle of features from problem identification to solution shipping and optimization. You will combine strong full stack engineering skills, with a focus on front-end technologies and genuine product thinking and customer empathy to create simple, elegant, and scalable solutions. You will use AI-assisted development to accelerate implementation, applying engineering judgment to refine, optimize, and architect scalable, maintainable, and production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Own Products End-to-End: Originate ideas from user conversations, analytics, and company strategy. Build MVPs, ship to production, iterate on feedback, and ensure ongoing success.
- Architect and Develop Great Software: Lead the design, development, and scaling of Angular applications across our front-end stack, shaping component architecture, state management, and design system decisions. Collaborate closely with backend teams (Go, Node.js, Python) to integrate APIs and deliver seamless end-to-end experiences.
- Stay Close to Customers: Talk directly to users, participate in support rotations, and use product analytics and observability tools to understand feature usage.
- Measure and Iterate: Instrument features, run experiments and A/B tests, define success metrics, and use data to decide what to build, improve, or deprecate.
- Build with AI Daily: Use tools like Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, and other AI-assisted development workflows as a core part of how you work to ship 10x faster.
- Drive Engineering Excellence: Champion and evolve front-end development workflows (build tooling, testing, component libraries), and ensure deployment is fast, safe, and reliable.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with Product, Design, and Testing to break down complex problems and deliver great outcomes, driving product decisions independently when appropriate.
- Mentor and Grow Others: Coach developers on technical challenges and product thinking, helping them grow into stronger engineers.
Requirements
- 4-6+ years of full stack experience with a strong focus in front-end software development and a track record of building and shipping SaaS products end-to-end.
- Proficiency in Angular (or similar modern framework) and TypeScript, with a strong grasp of component architecture, state management (NgRx or similar), reactive patterns (RxJS), and performance optimization.
- Working knowledge of back-end technologies (Go, Node.js, Python) sufficient to collaborate on API design and understand full-stack tradeoffs.
- Fluent in AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or similar) and able to use them daily to dramatically accelerate output.
- Experience using product analytics tools (PostHog, Amplitude, Mixpanel) and comfort with experimentation, feature flags, and A/B testing.
- Proven ability to navigate ambiguity, solve complex problems, and make sound product and technical decisions with incomplete information.
- Experience mentoring developers and collaborating effectively across disciplines.
- Strong communication skills — able to talk directly to customers and translate their needs into technical solutions.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience.
