About the Role

Helio Health is dedicated to treating and promoting recovery from substance use, mental health disorders, and other behavioral healthcare issues. This role is crucial in supporting that mission within the Inpatient Detox program.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain a caseload of patients seeking treatment for substance use and/or mental health disorders.
  • Perform essential counseling responsibilities including screening, intake and orientation, assessment, evaluation and intervention, treatment planning, referrals, crisis intervention, counseling, patient education, case management, reporting and record keeping.
  • Participate in program, administrative, and clinical committees as assigned.
  • Relate effectively with staff, clients, and the community while upholding confidentiality requirements.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's preferred.
  • CASAC-T required or CASAC-P eligible.
  • Equivalent alternative combination of education and experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Knowledge of addiction/recovery, behavioral health, self-help group process, and principles of counseling.
  • Proficiency with basic computer applications.

  • $20.19 - $24.20 per hour
