About the Role
This senior revenue-driving role is responsible for owning and growing Paramount's strategic relationships across the buy-side landscape within programmatic. The Director will secure and expand key DSP accounts, close high-impact deals, and deliver revenue growth across Paramount's programmatic sales channels in the CTV marketplace. This role carries direct revenue ownership and operates with a high degree of autonomy, interfacing cross-functionally to align programmatic strategy with broader business objectives.
Responsibilities
- Own and grow revenue across Paramount's portfolio of DSP partnerships, setting account strategies, closing incremental business, and consistently exceeding revenue targets.
- Serve as the primary executive point of contact for select Paramount's DSP relationships, leading high-stakes negotiations and securing long-term partnership commitments.
- Identify, pursue, and close new buy-side partnerships and incremental revenue streams, leveraging a well-established network to accelerate deal velocity and expand Paramount's programmatic footprint.
- Drive platform-level account strategy across all DSP partners, including deal creation, deal optimization, escalation resolution, and collateral documentation.
- Act as a senior advisor to Paramount's programmatic sales teams, championing DSP capabilities and best practices to maximize sell-through and revenue yield.
- Develop and maintain authoritative knowledge resources and strategic guidance documents supporting buy-side activations across Paramount's sales organization.
- Own executive-level revenue reporting dashboards and trend analysis across DSP partnerships, translating insights into actionable growth strategies.
- Lead strategic initiatives in partnership with the VPs on Platform Partnership team, including priority product rollouts and go-to-market strategies designed to sharpen Paramount's competitive position.
- Leverage deep expertise in the CTV landscape to advise on market positioning, identify whitespace opportunities, and guide internal stakeholders on the direction of programmatic demand.
- Collaborate with internal Yield, Product, and Operations teams to architect scalable solutions and processes that support continued partner growth.
Requirements
- Proven revenue generator and relationship builder with deep roots in the programmatic advertising ecosystem and a commanding understanding of the CTV landscape.
- Established network of senior DSP contacts and a track record of closing meaningful business and securing strategic accounts.
- Comfortable negotiating enterprise-level deals and advising internal stakeholders on market dynamics.
- Credible industry voice who understands where CTV programmatic is headed and can position Paramount advantageously ahead of market shifts.
- Combines strategic vision with executional rigor, thriving in a high-ownership environment where impact is directly tied to revenue outcomes.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in Ad Tech or programmatic advertising, with meaningful tenure in a revenue-generating or partnership leadership capacity.
- Demonstrated track record of closing business, securing strategic accounts, and delivering against revenue targets within the programmatic or CTV ecosystem.
- Robust, senior-level network across DSPs, SSPs, agencies, and the broader buy-side ecosystem; ability to open doors and accelerate deal cycles through established relationships.
- Deep, nuanced understanding of the CTV advertising landscape – including inventory dynamics, measurement frameworks, identity solutions, and the competitive DSP/SSP environment.
- Expert-level knowledge of Demand Side Platform operations, including campaign execution, deal structures, private marketplace mechanics, and buy-side optimization strategies.
- Highly organized, proactive, and accountable; able to manage a complex portfolio of partners and initiatives without sacrificing quality or responsiveness.
- Strong analytical capabilities, with proficiency in Excel, Google Collaborative Apps, and experience extracting data from databases using SQL.
- Exceptional communicator and executive presence; adept at telling compelling stories with data and influencing senior audiences across both internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Proven ability to independently identify, pursue, and close new lines of business with a high level of initiative and commercial drive.
