About the Role
The Risk Management Solutions (RMS) desk provides commodities, foreign exchange, interest rate, and workflow solutions to multi-national corporations in the Americas. As a US Corporate Salesperson, you will focus on the Energy and Metals markets, offering clients access to the Corporate and Investment Bank's product suite, from basic financial hedges to complex structured solutions.
Responsibilities
- Originate and execute Commodities solutions, including pricing and structuring.
- Collaborate with Trading, Structuring, and Corporate Finance teams to engage with corporate clients' CFOs, Treasurers, and finance departments.
- Liaise with trading, technology, and product partners to optimize client flow and deliver new solutions.
- Maximize revenue growth by acquiring new clients, increasing client penetration, share of wallet, cross-selling, and closing significant deals.
- Lead US commodities client perimeter expansion and penetration by leveraging the existing platform and originating new relationships.
- Drive near and medium-term product offering strategy in collaboration with trading and banking.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Relevant experience in Commodities Sales and Origination or a related field.
- Familiarity with global financial markets and derivatives.
- Strong quantitative and technical skills.
- Experience in Energy and Metals markets.
- Ability to identify relevant risk management opportunities with Corporates.
- Thorough understanding of ISDA terms and Credit concepts.
- Ability to lead a negotiation from start to finish.
- Comprehensive understanding of key hedge accounting concepts and Commodities regulations.
- Ability to multi-task in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client-facing situations.
- Problem-solving skills and a highly motivated, self-starter attitude.
- Employees are expected to work in the New York office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
