About the Role
We are recruiting Senior and Principal Safety Case Engineers to join our Environment Business. This role involves providing safety analysis and safety case support across the full lifecycle of nuclear plants, supporting licensees, future licensees, waste management organisations, and regulators. You will have the opportunity to work with a diverse team, develop your skills, build a successful career, and lead technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Provide nuclear safety case support through the full lifecycle.
- Plan and lead hazard identification studies (e.g. HAZIDs, HAZOPs).
- Develop and implement safety case strategies.
- Lead and deliver deterministic and/or probabilistic safety assessments.
- Prepare safety case documentation and reports.
- Provide independent advice and review of safety case documentation.
Requirements
- Degree-qualified or equivalent in a scientific or engineering discipline.
- Strong nuclear industry experience, with a track record in nuclear safety case development.
- Experience coaching and mentoring junior team members.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experienced in working within a SharePoint environment.
