About the Role
As a Wegmans pharmacist, you will work closely with leaders and technicians to provide customers with exceptional care and a one-of-a-kind pharmacy experience. Our pharmacy is a destination where customers trust they are receiving the best service possible when it comes to their health.
Responsibilities
- Answer, assess and listen to customer questions, needs and concerns while showing empathy with sensitive situations
- Strive to exceed expectations and provide alternative solutions to problems
- Provide counseling on prescriptions, relaying pertinent information for success and confidence with at-home use of medication
- Perform all necessary steps of workflow accurately and efficiently to ensure customers receive error-free products
- Maintain product levels, improve efficiencies, and seek continuous improvement opportunities
- Remain current on company wellness initiatives, demonstrating your support to your team and the store as a whole
- Comply with all federal, state, and HIPAA regulations, following all company guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
- Verify potential licensing in any state Wegmans does business
Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older
- Pharmacist State License (may require licensing in multiple states)
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree
- Certified Pharmacist Immunizer
- AED, CPR certified
