About the Role

As a senior-level individual contributor, the Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities that drive revenue growth. You will develop a strategy within our Corporate Sales team to help sign new customers and sell new products into our existing customer base, working in conjunction with other salespeople and key groups across the business to grow our business within your allocated territory. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, focusing on deal origination, relationship-building, and closing high-value partnerships and contracts.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities in target markets, verticals, or segments.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of leads and prospects.
  • Perform market research and analysis to uncover trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, prospects, and industry influencers.
  • Lead proposal development, pitch presentations, and negotiations for new business.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Product, Marketing, Solution Consultants and Professional Services) to tailor solutions and close deals.
  • Contribute to go-to-market strategies and campaign development based on client and market insights.
  • Offer feedback on product-market fit and emerging client demands.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and trade shows.
  • Track and report on pipeline status, revenue and ACV forecasts, as well as market developments.
  • Maintain detailed records of interactions and opportunities in the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Meet or exceed quarterly and annual revenue/ACV targets.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in acquiring new business logos and driving revenue growth.
  • Proven experience in B2B sales within complex, solution-based environments, ideally involving data, information, or technology-led solutions.
  • Consultative selling mindset with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and influence opportunities.
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking.
  • Experience in the Gaming & Gambling, Retail/eCommerce or technology sectors is preferred.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills.
