About the Role

Questrade Financial Group is seeking a Senior Graphic & Video Designer to be a creative cornerstone of their new social media team. This individual will define the visual strategy and execute high-quality video and static content to launch the brand. The role partners directly with the Social Media Strategy Manager to build a content engine from scratch, transforming complex financial topics into engaging visual content.

Responsibilities

Developing and owning the social media visual identity for Questrade and QuestMedia, ensuring a consistent and premium brand presence.
Producing all graphical assets for all channels, including infographics, static posts, and carousels.
Filming and editing 3-5 high-quality short-form videos per week for Reels, TikToks, and Shorts.
Developing compelling marketing collateral, including infographics and newsletter visuals, adhering to brand guidelines.
Working closely with the Social Media Strategy Manager and performance teams to create design variations for A/B testing and provide strategic design rationale.

Requirements

3-5 years of professional experience in graphic design and video production/editing, preferably within a corporate, agency, or FinTech environment.
Ability to create high-quality static graphics, infographics, and edit short-form video.
Proven ability to translate marketing objectives and complex financial data into clear, persuasive, and visually engaging designs.
Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in an Agile environment.
Strong strategic-thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide visual-driven solutions to marketing challenges.
