About the Role

The Night Auditor is the face of the hotel during overnight hours and provides superior service to all guests.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and complete check-in/check-out procedures using the Property Management System, obtaining and storing pertinent information.
• Handle cash, credit card information, and goods at the property.
• Identify guest needs and provide relevant information regarding hotel services and amenities to create an accommodating environment.
• Respond to all guest requests in a timely manner.
• Take reservations from incoming callers, inputting all pertinent information into the hotel management system.
• Update and cancel reservations in the system as requested by the guest.
• Organize previous shifts' paperwork, close and balance all room accounts and vouchers, investigate and analyze out-of-balance situations, and run trial balance reports and night audit.
• Prepare guest folios for express check-out.

Requirements

• Customer Service experience, preferably in a hotel setting.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Computer knowledge including intranet, Property Management System, WORD, and EXCEL strongly preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and have an acceptable driving history subject to company approval.
