About the Role
We are looking for a reliable, engaging, and down-to-earth Direct Support Person to provide one-on-one social companionship and support for a wonderful 32-year-old man with autism and helping him stay active and engaged. If you are someone who loves hanging out, chatting, and helping others try new things, this is the perfect fit.
Responsibilities
- Spend time talking, listening, and engaging with him on topics he enjoys.
- Help him plan and work on fun projects at home (e.g., hobbies, crafts, games, or life skills).
- Gradually build up comfort levels to take him out into the community for fun activities, or errands.
