Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing nursery team, building on a strong existing culture.
- Grow the nursery's profile and its place in the local community.
- Ensure the children remain at the heart of everything the setting does, day in and day out.
- Run the nursery with genuine independence, backed by supportive, empathetic ownership.
Requirements
- Hold a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification.
- Hold a Maths GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent.
- Bring comprehensive knowledge of leading and managing Early Years settings.
- Have a proven track record of improving performance.
- Build strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, staff and stakeholders alike.
- Be comfortable operating autonomously, taking ownership, and carrying responsibility.
- Bring genuine enthusiasm for childcare, child development, and making a difference in your community.
- Hold a detailed knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.
