About the Role

Lead a talented team and continue building on a genuinely strong reputation at a well-established nursery offering high-quality Early Years care. This role offers the freedom to put your own stamp on the setting while continuing to raise standards in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a high-performing nursery team, building on a strong existing culture.
  • Grow the nursery's profile and its place in the local community.
  • Ensure the children remain at the heart of everything the setting does, day in and day out.
  • Run the nursery with genuine independence, backed by supportive, empathetic ownership.

Requirements

  • Hold a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) childcare qualification.
  • Hold a Maths GCSE or Functional Skills equivalent.
  • Bring comprehensive knowledge of leading and managing Early Years settings.
  • Have a proven track record of improving performance.
  • Build strong, nurturing relationships with children, families, staff and stakeholders alike.
  • Be comfortable operating autonomously, taking ownership, and carrying responsibility.
  • Bring genuine enthusiasm for childcare, child development, and making a difference in your community.
  • Hold a detailed knowledge and understanding of safeguarding policies and procedures.

Salary/Compensations

  • £50,000-£55,000
  • Up to £5,000 performance bonus
