About the Role
The Admissions Coordinator is responsible for managing the initial impression of the school, keeping the front area organized, clean, and welcoming, and providing administrative and customer service support for the Admissions department.
Responsibilities
- Functions as Director of First Impressions for the campus.
- Retrieves messages from voice mail and forwards to appropriate personnel.
- Answers incoming telephone calls within 3 rings, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
- Takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to voice mail when appropriate personnel are not available.
- Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
- Receives, sorts, and routes mail.
- Performs accurate data entry (new student information).
- Manages student data (CVUE. LMS) to ensure school requirements are met.
- Ensures accurate, timely, and thorough student records are created in compliance with company standards during the Admissions Process and are forwarded to appropriate departments.
- Develops, manages, and maintains reports for the Admissions department.
- Communicates with the corporate office for approval/denial of High school diplomas.
- Works a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.
- Travels to other sites as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Requires at least 1-2 years of demonstrated administrative experience.
Skills
- Detail oriented and professional.
- Ability to apply analysis to generate and implement solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
