About the Role

Methods is seeking an experienced and commercially minded ServiceNow Pre-Sales & Assurance Consultant to support business development, shape winning solutions, and provide delivery assurance across their ServiceNow portfolio. This role is key to ensuring ServiceNow opportunities are compelling and deliverable, working at the intersection of sales, solution design, and delivery excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Support sales teams in identifying and qualifying ServiceNow opportunities.
  • Lead discovery workshops with prospective customers.
  • Shape solution approaches aligning customer outcomes with Methods' ServiceNow capabilities.
  • Contribute to bids, proposals, framework responses, RFPs, and presentations.
  • Develop compelling business cases, value propositions, and transformation roadmaps.
  • Present ServiceNow solutions to senior stakeholders.
  • Support account planning and identify opportunities for service expansion.
  • Collaborate with strategic partners to develop joint opportunities.
  • Act as the lead solution designer for ServiceNow opportunities.
  • Define solution architectures, delivery approaches, operating models, and target outcomes.
  • Ensure proposed solutions align with ServiceNow best practice and customer objectives.
  • Produce high-quality solution documentation.
  • Validate assumptions, resource requirements, risks, and dependencies with delivery teams.
  • Support commercial modelling and effort estimation.
  • Ensure solutions reflect industry standards, governance, and security.
  • Provide independent assurance on ServiceNow programmes and projects.
  • Review project artefacts, designs, and plans to identify risks and improvements.
  • Ensure adherence to agreed methodologies and best practice.
  • Conduct health checks and assurance reviews for ongoing engagements.
  • Support project mobilisation for seamless sales-to-delivery transition.
  • Provide guidance and challenge to delivery teams.
  • Identify lessons learned and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Support customer governance boards and executive reviews.
  • Support the development of ServiceNow propositions, accelerators, and thought leadership.
  • Contribute to Methods' ServiceNow community through mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Maintain awareness of ServiceNow product developments and industry trends.
  • Support internal capability growth through coaching and pre-sales enablement.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a ServiceNow consulting, architecture, pre-sales, or solution design role.
  • Strong understanding of the ServiceNow platform and its key modules (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, SecOps, IRM/GRC, HRSD, CSM, App Engine).
  • Experience leading solution design for complex digital transformation programmes.
  • Demonstrable experience supporting bids, proposals, and customer presentations.
  • Strong understanding of public sector procurement and framework-based opportunities.
  • Experience performing delivery assurance, governance reviews, or programme health checks.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Commercially aware, with experience supporting estimation, business cases, and opportunity qualification.
  • Self-motivated, collaborative, and able to work across multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Experience of Agile, ITIL, DevOps, or service management practices is advantageous.
  • Must have, or be willing to undergo, appropriate security clearance.
