About the Role
The Line Maintenance Representative is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and related equipment in compliance with FAA regulations and company procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and modifications on aircraft and components
- Communicate effectively with all company departments
- Travel for station coverage, training, and maintenance support
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Maintain availability for on-call duties
- Assist Airport Planning/Properties with environmental and property issues
- Manage station manuals, parts, and tooling inventory
- Perform aircraft deicing, snow removal, and GSE maintenance as needed
- Conduct regional travel to verify station compliance with FAA and QA audits
- Train new team members on paperwork, MXI, and manuals
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License with successful MVR background check
- A&P License
- Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems
- Proficiency in interpreting wiring diagrams and evaluating structural damage
- Ability to work unsupervised
- Ability to travel on company aircraft
- Ability to stoop, bend, and manipulate tools in small spaces
- Ability to work in adverse outdoor conditions
- Ability to wear respirator and safety protective equipment
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs
- Ability to perform work at heights up to 60 ft
- Ability to obtain a SIDA Badge
