About the Role
We are seeking a Product Designer to join our centralized team of three, contributing across product areas as our web and mobile apps continue to grow. This hybrid role will touch the journeys customers use to run their businesses, while helping shape our design system. You will be designing the tools small business owners use to make real financial decisions, and work where getting it right shapes someone's day.
Responsibilities
- Defining a component
- Designing a feature
- Supporting an acquisition campaign
- Thinking from first principles and bringing a point of view
- Roughly 70% UX and Product, 20% UI and Visual Design, 10% Marketing and Growth
- Taking unknowns to whoever holds the answer
- Defining design by what it needs to do, then applying the right elements and patterns
- Reaching for existing solutions before inventing
Requirements
- 2-5 years in product or UX design
- Ideally with some exposure to a design system (Figma and/or code)
- A portfolio showing solid UX fundamentals (problem definition, interaction, usability, accessibility) alongside a good eye for visual polish
- Fluency in Figma and working knowledge of modern design and prototyping tools
- Comfortable asking questions rather than waiting for a brief
