About the Role
Assembles and tests pumps, systems, and related products to customer expectations using hand tools, testers, work instructions, and Bill of Materials while working in a team environment.
Responsibilities
- Performs bench-type processes to complete mechanical and electrical assemblies and sub-assemblies per work instructions, Bill of Materials, and best practices.
- Demonstrates ability to use electronic and pneumatic tools to build product.
- Reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Quality Department per defined reject process.
- Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition to 6S standards.
- Performs prescribed preventative maintenance on equipment as required per PM requirements.
- Operates both stationary and moving overhead cranes as necessary.
- Operates fork truck or hand pallet jack as necessary.
- Works at the directions of the Department Supervisor and Team Leads.
- Completes tasks as directed by manufacturing schedules with minimal supervision.
- Participates in Team meetings and projects.
- Works effectively in a team environment.
- Operates according to ISO 9001 requirements.
- Held responsible and accountable to follow safety guidelines, maintain a clean and organized work area, and use good safety judgment.
- Reports all unsafe activities and conditions to the Supervisor and/or Safety Representative.
