About the Role
This role owns the AI content operations product roadmap within Content Platforms. You will identify areas in the content workflow that benefit from automation, build the necessary tools, and ensure their adoption by content creators. The goal is to streamline the content creation process, from idea to publication, using AI-powered solutions.
Responsibilities
- Embed with marketing and learning teams to understand content creation workflows and identify friction points.
- Analyze AI experiments conducted by content creators to uncover opportunities.
- Own the AI content operations product roadmap, deciding on build vs. buy vs. kill.
- Ship AI-powered tools for metadata generation, doc-to-CMS conversion, content review, research assistance, and asset generation.
- Build functional prototypes independently to validate ideas and refine requirements.
- Drive adoption of new tools within daily workflows.
- Make informed build-vs-buy decisions for internal tooling.
- Partner with the Sanity platform investment for tool integration.
Requirements
- Familiarity with modern content team operations, including content calendars, brief-to-publish workflows, review processes, SEO, localization, and asset management.
- Understanding of where AI can be usefully applied in content workflows.
- Curiosity about content as a system, encompassing publication, discovery, reuse, and brand impact.
- Deep familiarity with headless CMS architecture; Sanity experience is a plus.
- Comfort with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
- Ability to build simple web apps and functional prototypes independently.
- Comfort building with AI development tools and model APIs.
- Experience evaluating, prompting, and integrating LLMs into workflows.
- Comfort architecting tools that connect multiple systems.
- Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams, including pairing on problems.
- Experience shipping internal tools where adoption requires more than just availability.
- Iterative approach to development, prioritizing shipping and learning over extensive pre-planning.
- Genuinely curious about AI's potential as a practical tool.
- Systems thinking approach to design, anticipating future problems.
- PMs, solutions architects, solutions consultants, engineers, and others with content management/operations backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Salary/Compensations
- For candidates based in the United States, the pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $132,000 and $209,000/year, with an expected On Target Earnings (OTE) between $147,000 and $232,000/year (including bonus or commission).
