About the Role
acemate is building an AI learning & teaching platform for higher and further education institutions. We are looking for a passionate Software Engineer (Intern / Working Student) to drive our product forward and help us scale.
Responsibilities
- Build features end to end, making AI features feel genuinely useful.
- Own the development of our React Native app.
- Work on the AI pipelines behind everything.
- Connect user needs with design and technical implementation.
- Speak directly with users to find pain points and code solutions.
- Test ideas by pushing live code.
- Use user empathy and live analytics to identify and fix user issues.
- Take features from conception to deployment.
- Push updates early and use data to iterate.
Requirements
- Have built and shipped something real (side project, university project, or previous work).
- Commitment to excellence and going above and beyond.
- Curiosity and adaptability, eagerness to learn new technologies.
- Ability to leverage AI coding tools effectively.
