You will work closely with content creators to understand their challenges and develop AI-powered solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Identify AI experiments already in progress by content creators to find opportunities for improvement.
  • Own the AI content operations product roadmap, deciding what to build, buy, or retire.
  • Ship AI-powered tools to shorten the content creation process, including metadata generation, doc-to-CMS conversion, content review, research assistance, and asset generation.
  • Build functional prototypes independently to validate ideas and refine requirements.
  • Drive adoption of new tools by ensuring they integrate into daily workflows.
  • Make informed build-vs-buy decisions for internal tooling.
  • Partner with the Sanity platform team for tool integration within the CMS.

Requirements

  • PMs, solutions architects, solutions consultants, engineers, or others with a background in content management and content operations are encouraged to apply.
  • Familiarity with modern content team workflows, including content calendars, brief-to-publish processes, review and approval, SEO, localization, and asset management.
  • Understanding of where AI can be usefully applied in content workflows and openness to learning from others.
  • Curiosity about content as a system, including publication, discovery, reuse, and brand impact.
  • Deep familiarity with headless CMS architecture; Sanity experience is a strong plus.
  • Comfort with Node.js, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
  • Ability to build simple web apps and functional prototypes independently.
  • Comfort building with AI development tools like Claude Code or Cursor, and with underlying model APIs.
  • Experience evaluating, prompting, and integrating LLMs into real workflows.
  • Comfort architecting tools that connect multiple systems (CMS, analytics, model providers, internal services).
  • Experience reasoning about long-term design tradeoffs.
  • Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams, including pairing on problems and using AI development tools.
  • Ability to hold technical conversations and make decisions.
  • Experience shipping internal tools where adoption requires more than just availability.
