About the Role

POLITICO Deutschland is seeking an Editor to build and continuously develop a new, German-language PRO newsletter focused on Tech. This role is for a versatile and well-connected journalist with leadership experience who is eager to contribute to a new venture.

Responsibilities

• Build and continuously develop a daily PRO newsletter in collaboration with the team.
• Monitor current developments and ensure fast and accurate reporting.
• Be responsible for topic planning and editing.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues, including those from other departments.

Requirements

• Several years of editorial experience.
• Initial leadership experience.
• Ideally, moderation experience.
• Knowledge of digital policy in Germany and the EU.
• Fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Ideally, proficiency in other European languages.
