About the Role
The SAT.1 breakfast television show accompanies millions of people into their day, covering politics, sports, culture, and entertainment. You will prepare interviews from politics, culture, medicine, and society for our presenters and handle images, texts, and music safely and creatively.
Responsibilities
- Research, plan, and organize the realization of current and long-term topics.
- Create reports, features, and interviews in the areas of current affairs, boulevard, and service.
- Independently prepare, organize, and manage shoots, including editing with an editor.
- Acquire high-ranking guests from politics, business, science, culture, and society.
- Brief the presenter and create topic and guest dossiers.
- Monitor current developments in all subject areas.
Requirements
- Experienced editor/reporter with an affinity for infotainment, holding a university degree and completed journalistic traineeship.
- Several years of professional experience as a television editor/reporter in the boulevard sector, with experience in magazine contributions (shooting/editing).
- Good general knowledge and strong interest in socio-political topics and issues.
- Strong communication skills and confident writing of contributions and teaser texts.
- Comfortable in stressful situations, team-oriented, and highly flexible with working hours.
- Willingness to work weekends and shifts.
