Responsibilities
- Assist customers in selecting frames, lenses, and optical products.
- Interpret prescriptions and educate patients on lens options.
- Process optical orders accurately and coordinate with the lab.
- Perform frame adjustments and minor repairs.
- Maintain and merchandise optical dispensary displays and frame inventory.
- Build patient relationships to drive repeat business.
- Meet and exceed individual and team sales goals.
Requirements
- Prior optical sales or dispensing experience preferred.
- Familiarity with ophthalmic lenses, frames, and vision insurance plans.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with the ability to accurately process orders and prescriptions.
- ABO certification a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment.
- Proficiency with optical dispensing software or point-of-sale systems is a bonus.
