About the Role
Responsible for cleanliness, maintenance, and general upkeep of center buildings and grounds.
Responsibilities
- Demonstrates and abides by the Company Core Values and the operating principles.
- Performs general janitorial duties in an office, such as cleaning, dusting, washing windows, and moving and polishing furniture and equipment.
- Sweeps, mops, and polishes floors.
- Vacuums and spot cleans carpets.
- Empties trash receptacles.
- Assists in the relocation of center equipment and furniture.
- Performs minor maintenance repairs.
- Arranges for repair of office equipment and utilities.
- Transports students as authorized.
- Ensures that all tools and equipment are in good repair.
- Attends required staff training sessions as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
- Minimum: Six months experience.
- Preferred: One year or more work-related experience.
- Must possess a valid State driver's license.
- Ability to obtain and maintain CPR/FA certification.
- Ability to operate power tools.
- Ability to operate office equipment.
- Occasionally works alone.
- 85% of time spent working and interacting with team and other departments.
- Ability to read at a high school level.
- Ability to write at a high school level.
