  • Support the current copy editor on NewRepublic.com as needed.
  • Build editorial newsletters.
  • Manage newsletter production and distribution to subscribers.
  • Maintain TNR’s style guide and update staff on style changes.

Requirements

  • At least seven years of copyediting experience, preferably at a news website or magazine.
  • Experience with basic fact-checking.
  • Familiarity with AP style.
  • Ability to learn third-party applications.
  • Ability to manage schedules and prioritize assignments.
  • Must complete a copyediting test prior to interviews.
