About the Role

This role ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage. You will foster a safe working environment, assist in developing the daily operating plan, and provide development to supervisory and driver staff.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures annual performance goals are met, including on-time dispatches, off-load rate, labor cost, and product loss and damage.
  • Ensures a safe working environment by executing company processes successfully.
  • Assists in developing the daily operating plan to include equipment maintenance and driver work schedules.
  • Solves problems to the maximum satisfaction of our customers.
  • Provides development to supervisory and driver staff.
  • Potentially leads various committees, such as quality and safety.
  • Partners with human resources to ensure appropriate staffing levels.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree with 3 to 4 plus years of related experience and 0 to 1 plus years of supervisory experience OR High School Diploma with 5 plus years of specific experience and 1 to 2 plus years of supervisory experience.
  • Offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
