About the Role

The Collateral Management team is a centralized support function focused on mitigating credit risk by determining and calling margin at a portfolio level. The team supports collateral arrangements for Derivatives, Repo, MBS, and PB, handling all aspects including data management, margin calling, dispute management, portfolio reconciliations, collateral asset management, and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform dispute resolution and reconciliations.
  • Partner with Global Markets, Middle Office, and Risk teams to address client queries.
  • Interface with various Front office and Counterparty/Market risk teams.
  • Work with various settlement groups to ensure proper cash and security movements.
  • Engage in projects focused on regulatory requirements and internal optimization.
  • Provide daily/weekly reporting on trade dispute metrics.
  • Participate in projects related to industry regulatory requirements.
  • Interface and liaison with Front/Middle teams and the Risk Group regarding Regulatory and House Margin requirements.
  • Maintain Supervisory Procedures.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of collateral management experience.
  • Strong understanding of OTC Derivatives and Repo Markets.
  • Working knowledge of Margin regulations.
  • Understanding of the legal, credit, and operational risks associated with Collateral.
  • SIE & Series 99 are required.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Exchange Traded Funds space within Equities is a plus.
  • Risk & Control experience is also a plus.
