About the Role
Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Armed Driver Mobile Response to safeguard clients in various industries. This role involves conducting patrols, responding to security concerns, and providing excellent customer service in a dynamic and collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
- Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, loading areas, parking lots, and the surrounding property to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe customer, visitor, and employee activity for unusual conditions or policy concerns; report observations according to site procedures.
- Complete required reports and maintain accurate documentation of incidents, patrols, and security-related activities.
Requirements
- Possess at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
