Responsibilities

  • Settle and process trades for Capital Market products.
  • Understand various complex products, associated trade events, and related process flows.
  • Coordinate with clients on daily settlement confirmations and problem resolution.
  • Engage frequently with clients, traders, senior leaders, and other support staff.
  • Provide business identification and consultative support for process changes and system enhancements.
  • Analyze and recommend enhancements to existing business processes.
  • Communicate rationale and negotiate solutions to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Ensure assigned initiatives are implemented effectively.
  • Participate in meetings as a Subject Matter Expert.

Requirements

  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring all client agreements and trade commitments are adhered to.
  • All trading activity is fully balanced and settled by specified SLAs without errors or breaks.
  • Regularly participate in research and analysis of discrepancies between internal records, custodians, and counterparties.
  • Respond to client inquiries and requests, providing professional high-quality customer service.
  • Liaise and interact with clients as part of the daily management of your portfolio.
  • Knowledge of approaches, tools, and techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving operational or process problems.
  • Identify and document specific problems and resolution alternatives.
  • Knowledge of major functional processes and associated operating requirements.
  • Seek efficiencies in operational functions wherever possible.
  • Experience with Euroclear, Clearstream, DTC, CDS, Arrow, Broadridge.
  • Ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs.
  • Communicate well upward and outward.
  • Be passionate about people and build trust through respect and authenticity.

  • Utilize critical thinking skills to inform decision making.
