About the Role

The Lead Medical Assistant serves as a resource to other Medical Assistants within their office by mentoring, training, and leading day-to-day operations. They will perform standard MA functions such as assisting patients and providers with various obstetrical and gynecological procedures. This role works in concert with all clinical leadership to provide the ultimate patient and provider experience.

Responsibilities

• Mentoring and training other Medical Assistants.
• Leading day-to-day operations.
• Assisting patients.
• Assisting providers with obstetrical and gynecological procedures (e.g., hysteroscopy, colposcopy, biopsies).

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical Assistant certification required.
• Minimum of 2 years Medical Assistant experience.
• For NJ only: Graduate of an accredited post-secondary medical assisting education program which includes, at a minimum, 600 hours of instruction and encompasses training in the administration of intramuscular and subcutaneous injections.

Skills
