About the Role
The Lateral Partner Recruiting Coordinator will work with others to coordinate interview schedules for lateral partner candidates and assist with various logistics surrounding the lateral partner interview process.
Responsibilities
- Prepares and coordinates multiple candidate interview schedules weekly, anticipating partners’ needs and adjusting schedules as needed.
- Coordinates virtual interviews via Microsoft Teams, ensuring they start, are monitored, and executed flawlessly.
- Prepares and sends candidate pre-interview materials and meeting reminders, updating candidate materials on an ongoing basis.
- Sends interview evaluation forms to internal partners, monitors completion, and follows up as needed.
- Coordinates candidate travel and catering needs for in-person interviews and meetings.
- Coordinates with Lateral Partner Recruiting Directors and Associate Directors during candidate visits, greeting candidates as needed.
- Works across all candidates, including domestic and international offices (Europe, Middle East, and Asia-Pacific).
- Maintains lateral partner tracking sheets and contacts Lateral Leads for regular updates.
- Maintains statistics on lateral candidates, including start date, position, and previous employment, and provides reports as requested.
- Ensures all lateral partner candidates are accurately entered into Lawcruit, raising concerns about historic data with Lateral Leads.
- Coordinates with headhunters when needed and maintains search firm agreements.
- Processes expense reimbursements and invoices in Chrome River.
- Performs additional duties as requested.
Requirements
- Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate well with lawyers, candidates, all levels of administrative staff, and external contacts.
- Excellent facilitation and organizational skills.
- Ability to work proactively.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining poise under pressure.
- Strong experience across Excel and PowerPoint is highly desirable.
- High attention to detail is important.
