About the Role

Schuyler Ridge Residential Healthcare is seeking an experienced RN Manager to lead its Long-Term Care Unit. This role offers the opportunity to lead a dedicated nursing team, play a key role in clinical operations and patient care outcomes, and partner with interdisciplinary teams to drive quality improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee nursing operations for a designated long-term care unit and ensure exceptional resident care outcomes.
• Lead, supervise, and support nursing and nursing support staff.
• Plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident care programs.
• Promote positive interdisciplinary team relationships.
• Manage staffing, resources, and departmental operations.
• Monitor quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Support residents and families through compassionate care and communication.
• Foster employee engagement, growth, and accountability.
• Manage fiscal and material resources effectively.
• Uphold organizational values, ethical standards, and compliance requirements.

Requirements

• Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 5 years of RN experience
• Minimum 1 year of nursing leadership experience
• 3+ years of skilled nursing or long-term care experience
• Experience with budgeting and financial management
• Strong leadership, coaching, and staff development skills
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution abilities
• Demonstrated commitment to patient satisfaction and team engagement
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced healthcare environment
