About the Role

Kraken is seeking a Client Delivery Lead to support North American clients through technology transformation journeys, focusing on new and long-term migration projects. This role involves managing a specific tech domain (billing, finance, comms) for client projects, either migrating to the Kraken platform or managing ongoing technology needs. The ideal candidate will partner with Kraken's technology and operational teams, as well as clients, to deliver project results and meet business objectives. This is a hands-on, individual contributor position with opportunities for leadership, requiring a self-starter attitude and commitment to Kraken's delivery principles.

Responsibilities

  • Managing the relationship with client counterparts (often product owners and business owners)
  • Serving as the first point of contact for tech development and the escalation/resolution point for domain/product issues
  • Acting as the knowledge base for Kraken's functionality and delivery methods
  • Triaging incoming requests and communicating client priorities internally
  • Summarizing and articulating client needs, considerations, and timelines to enable platform development
  • Supporting the engineering team in delivering product features
  • Challenging clients to adopt new ways of thinking about tech development and continuous iteration/deployment
  • Driving delivery and initiatives across teams, engineering, and global product teams
  • Connecting people, processes, and technology across the utility ecosystem
  • Navigating ambiguity and designing solutions to improve the customer journey

Requirements

  • Relevant domain experience in Energy, billing systems, CRM, customer journeys, data, DERMS, energy market experience, ERCOT, payments, or commercials
  • Strong agile delivery experience
  • Experience with product management and customer journeys
  • Solid understanding of technology and associated trends
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills
  • Strong influencing skills and ability to challenge traditional thinking
  • Experience managing significant complex delivery pipelines for clients
  • Patience and understanding for clients undergoing transformations
  • Technical mindset with experience in the energy supply sector and customer journeys
  • Experience in client-facing roles and stakeholder management
  • Experience managing technical products or projects
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in tools such as Miro and Office Suite
