About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Category Manager, Grocery to help build our vendor network and improve our end-to-end sourcing process. You will contribute to and execute our strategic roadmap, manage vendor relationships, support negotiations, launch new ingredients, and streamline procurement processes. This role is key to improving costs, ingredient quality, supply chain reliability, and product innovation.

Responsibilities

Support development and execution of sourcing strategy for the category, driving improvements and supply chain performance in cost, quality, reliability, and customer offering.
Leverage large internal datasets and industry benchmarks to report on team progress, identify new opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
Support vendor negotiations and selection process, and lead vendor onboarding/offboarding.
Lead projects that drive innovative and sustainable packaging solutions.
Manage new and existing vendor relationships, pricing, and supplier agreements.
Collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize and develop new products.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, supply chain, or related discipline.
3-5 years of related experience in a hands-on, high-performance environment (sourcing, supply chain, operations, or consulting).
Strong analytical and data skills, with the ability to draw insights independently.
Strong Excel skills.
Structured approach and communication style for effectively communicating with diverse stakeholders.
Ability to solve complex, ambiguous problems in a fast-paced environment with limited direction.
Potential exposure to common allergens (e.g., peanuts, tree nuts, milk) in the work environment.
