About the Role
Randwick City Council is seeking two experienced Plant Operator / Multi-Skilled Workers for permanent full-time positions within the Domestic Resource Recovery team in Maroubra. This role is crucial for serving the vibrant community on Sydney's eastern beaches.
Responsibilities
- Perform duties with minimal supervision and work effectively in a team environment.
- Operate and maintain rear loading compactor vehicles.
- Conduct all activities in accordance with Council’s Safe Work Method Statements.
- Ensure compliance with legislative, industrial, and Council policy requirements regarding Equal Employment Opportunity, Work Health and Safety, Rehabilitation, and environmental protection.
- Maintain a focus on quality customer service, responding effectively to community needs.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience working in a team.
- Class HR driver’s licence or relevant certified qualifications.
- A current WHS General Construction Induction (White) card.
- Experience interacting with members of the public.
- Ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to comply with all Council’s policies and procedures.
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous.

- From $70,960 per annum + 12% superannuation + appropriate shift allowances
