About the Role
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of a building and its surrounding grounds, ensuring the health and safety of occupants through proper sanitation and a clean work environment.
Responsibilities
- Cleans the interior of buildings including floors, carpet, rugs, windows and walls
- Shampoos and vacuums rugs and carpets using equipment
- Collects and disposes of trash and recycling
- Sanitizes restroom facilities
- Orders cleaning supplies and maintains an inventory
- Notifies managers of needed major repairs or unsafe conditions
- Adheres to dealership policies and procedures
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Valid New York State Driver License

- Ability to stand and walk for long periods
- Ability to lift and move over 50 pounds
- Knowledge of cleaning products and tools
- Time-management and multitasking abilities
