About the Role

This role supports the Investment Banking activity of Commercial Banking clients within the Finance and Business Management organization. The individual will be part of the Executive Business Management team, supporting co-heads and strategic initiatives, partnering with leadership to grow and manage the business in a data-driven way.

Responsibilities

  • Synthesize information and prepare presentation materials for senior management and stakeholders.
  • Perform analysis to support decision-making and firm-wide coordination.
  • Conduct extensive research on market opportunities using proprietary and third-party data.
  • Develop and execute key monthly and quarterly reporting for senior managers.
  • Address ad hoc requests and perform data analysis for business groups.
  • Identify areas for process improvement and enhance efficiencies through innovative solutions.
  • Interact with Bankers to gather information and solidify cross-line of business partnerships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in finance, business management, and/or project management.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking and Investment Banking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to synthesize information, ask insightful questions, spot trends, and communicate strategic recommendations.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively to changing business needs and urgent requests.
  • Willingness to learn and a genuine interest in knowledge gathering, problem-solving, and business improvement.
  • Willingness to deep dive into unfamiliar topics and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with internal JPMorgan Chase wholesale banking systems (e.g., Salesforce, Client Central, iBanker).
  • Experience with key third-party data tools (e.g., Dealogic, FactSet).
  • Desire to learn data visualization & automation tools (Tableau, Alteryx, UiPath, etc.).
  • Authorized to work in the United States.
