About the Role

DCMA is seeking a motivated student to join the Business Process Improvement (BPI) team, focusing on AI Acceleration efforts. This part-time role offers hands-on experience supporting executive-level work by applying AI tools to enhance productivity, decision-making, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Partner directly with the BPI team to support daily workflow and strategic projects.
• Develop and refine AI prompts to improve efficiency and output quality using Microsoft Copilot.
• Assist in the creation of executive-level presentations, reports, and communications.
• Research and recommend practical applications of AI to enhance business processes and decision-making.
• Identify use cases and suggest new workflow optimization techniques using AI tools.
• Help streamline and organize information for leadership consumption.
• Support ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate (junior or senior preferred) or Masters program, with a concentration in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong interest in artificial intelligence and its practical applications in a business environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, executive-ready materials.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• High level of attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Highly motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a dynamic setting.
