About the Role
Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional (DSP) to work in the Liverpool area with a young girl. The DSP will provide respite over the Summer while she is out of school, assisting her with maintaining independence at home. The individual enjoys swimming, camping, playing with toys, and watching movies/shows. Applicants must be comfortable swimming and okay with dogs.
Responsibilities
- Assist with maintaining independence at home.
- Provide respite care over the Summer.
- Encourage the individual.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Reliable transportation required.
- HS diploma/GED required.
- Background check, fingerprinting, and DMV record check will be conducted.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps.
- Abide by ARISE/EFR's technology policy.
